if you shoot them before they can grab the can and instawarp out, you get concorded (and then they laugh at you and take the can anyway). if you wait until after they're flagged, you can't get them in time. bounties are worthless. you can't wardec the newb corp. there are no other options.
I think Avon means, just yell at the guy in game local and he'll stop.

Well, that might work, but I wouldn't pin my hopes on it. (Still worth a try).
Warp out, let him deal with the NPC's
War dec his corp. (And if he is in an NPC corp, that is a whole different issue which DOES need addressing).
Gank him, and use an alt to get your goodies back (hell, they do it afterall, right?)
Just because you can't stop him taking loot from NPC's which he has gone to the effort of killing, does not mean you can not get even.
Ultimately, however, he is protected by Concord because you want to work somewhere where you are protected by Concord.
As already mentioned elsewhere, it is a double edged sword.
Double edge... think you got that anaolgy wrong. Only one person gets hurt in this scenario... the mechanics are broken. Having an alt is not an acceptable counter... LOL.

I think you are reading the words but not actually grasping the meaning.
Ahh... so a gank and getting concorded is the counter? much better than what I thought... LOL... yea, lets just spend the day waiting for him to jump out in a gankable ship and use another lame tactic to counter. Why do you insisnt on laming down the game? talk about dumbing down.

I'd like to add a nippet... Why is there this constant dumbing down of our combat? Where are the pure battles anymore?... this stuff about ganks, griefs, lame war decs, and responding with the same tactics is just lame. Are piewats really that desperate?
